NEW! IF THIS HOUSE COULD TALK: LOWER ARGYLE HISTORIC HOME TOUR

Sunday, May 1, 2011, 1-4pm. Visit seven historic houses along the historic Argyle Wagon Road.Discover colorful characters, Friday Harbor history, and the vernacular architectural of the historic lower Argyle neighborhood. Look for open-house signs at each location including 455, 460, 468, 479, 328, 685, 755 Argyle. Free to the public.

NEW! IF THIS HOUSE COULD TALK: BREAKFAST & HISTORY TALK AT THE HISTORIC KIRGY CARTER HOUSE.

Wednesday, May 4, 2011, 9am-10:30am. 135 Second Street, Garden Path Café. History and breakfast are served up with stories and memories of Cornelius Lycergus “Kirgy” Carter, his family and others. Sliding scale $4-$10 includes admission and breakfast. Admission is included with the purchase of breakfast, $4-$10, tax and beverages not included. SAN JUAN COUNTY HISTORIC COURTHOUSE TOUR
