With the help of Portland’s Clean Energy Works program, homeowners Roy and Kim Fox are undertaking weatherization that will reduce their energy consumption by 30% while keeping intact the character of their 1884 Queen Anne home. Come learn how during tours beginning each hour. Tour a fantastic 1884 home, learn more about the Clean Energy Works program, and how you can weatherize an older home without impacting its vintage character.
When: Saturday, May 22, 2010 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) Where: 5915 NE Rodney Ave., Portland Admission is free but a small donation is suggested (All proceeds support the education programs of the Architectural Heritage Center) No pre-registration required. Guided tours will be given on the hour throughout the day. Due to space constraints, each tour is limited to a maximum of 40 people and is first-come first served. The last tour will start at approximately 4:00 p.m.
