Position Description:As an expert in cultural resources, this position will lead the Historic Resources Program for the Skagit River Hydroelectric Project and is responsible for ensuring compliance with Section 106 of the Historic Preservation Act for construction and maintenance work on historic properties associated with the Project.  The position also provides expertise on historic resources for other City Light projects within the City of Seattle.  It requires consulting with the National Park Service (NPS), Washington Department of Archeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP), and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regarding historic properties.  In addition, this position leads the recreation resources and erosion control programs for the Skagit River Project, including budget tracking and reporting to the FERC, coordination with the NPS and US Forest Service. The museum Director will acquire, care for, develop, display and interpret a collection of artifacts or works of art in order to inform, educate and entertain the public. The Director will oversee storage and the exchange and or loan of collections. It is essential that the Director construct innovative and creative exhibitions which appeal to a wide cross-section of the general public.
