Another reason to travel to Wisconsin besides watching the political brinksmanship in Madison, is to catch the recently opened exhibit at the Milwaukee Art Museum on native son Frank Lloyd Wright. Titled “Frank Lloyd Wright: Organic Architecture for the 21st Century”, the show opened on February 12 and is drawing rave reviews. Featuring drawings, models, and even home movies rarely if ever seen by the public, the timely theme focuses on Wright’s architecture as leading the way in current “green building” design trends. Go to the Museum’s exhibition website for more information.
